This is partially true. Studying the version of Expert+ I've
obtained, in addition to allow multitasking in a manner more like a
desktop box, it also has a few commands/tweaks to help reduce crunch.
One of these is what bit me on the boo-boo. The parameter
[system]
noFontDriver = true
is the culprit. I spent about 4 hrs adding 1 parameter at a time to
my .INI files and finally found this sucker.
Having read earlier posts about using the updated v2.01 motif, I
suspect that this is where the problem lies. I'm still using the
stock out-of-the-box system. The only mods at this point are from
those documented in the Expert+ pak and the FAQ.
Chris might want to add an addenum or extra readme to the Expert+ pak
documenting the difference/problems incurred with applying Expert+ to
a stock system.
Don't get me wrong in all of this. Expert+ is the neatest thing since
sliced bread for the Zoomer, I'm just a little frustrated right now.
The combination of Expert+ and Graffiti make this the best tool I've
bought in a long time. Happily everything seems to be working fine.
I'll just keep an eye out for a few days.
