I want to install Text Editor, but doesn't the Text editor program require
the SPELL.GEO library? That's a 151,304 byte hit on memory. Someone has
suggested that some kind soul at GeoWorks or some resourceful programmer
create a small replacement SPELL.GEO library that would simply fulfill Text
Editor's library requirment but not do any spell checking thus reducing Text
Editor's actual storage requirments. If you have a memory card, this is
probably a non-issue, but this library requirment makes it nearly
impossible to install it on an un-expanded Zoomer.

I personally wouldn't characterize Note Book as "nearly worthless".
one nice feature of Note Book is its Table of Contents page on which you can
hierarchically organize and group your pages without having to drop to the
file system and screw with folders or the directory structure. For example,
it's really nice to have heading groups for Work, Home, etc. under which I
can keep related pages. For example, I have one heading called Work
Meetings. I just uncollapse the heading, select the last page in the
group, select NEW which adds a new page in that level, tap the title bar,
use Graffiti's date stamp macro to date-stamp the title, close the title
bar, and begin taking notes. For me, it's fast and easy. My only
complaint is that Note Book only allows two levels of nesting. It would
be great to have several more.

As for Text Editor, I see it more as a tool that replacee the AOL editor for
doing word processing or ASCII file ednd tweaking.

Of course, YMMV!
