Hi, IMHO, if you are going to Radio Shack to spend $20 on an AC adapter
for your Z, why not spend the extra $10 or so and get the one that they
market for the Z? You can order it there from the R.S. catalogue, it'l
take a week or so to arrive.
In reference to your experiment, that adapter doesn't put out enuff juice,
so the Z is still trying to get it from the batteries.
