I personally wouldn't characterize Note Book as "nearly worthless".

While not completely worthless, sometimes it makes me wonder. While the
organizing feature is good, unless I've missed something, you can't write
something in PowerInk and convert the whole document later to text. I've
looked over the manual and can't find this feature. The manual mentioned
this feature in the Date Book and Address Book chapters. Does anyone know how
to do this (if it's possible w/o copying sections of PowerInk to the Date
Book for conversion and then copying it back)?
