As far as I know, converting ink to text is a feature that is exclusive to
DateBook and AddressBook. I know of no way to do it in the Notebook.

Your concerns of converting ink to text can easily be eliminated. If you
have the money, purchase Graffiti. It will be the best $80.00 you ever
spent on your Zoomer. You don't even need a RAM card to for it to
work. It has transformed my Zoomer from a curiousity into a real-world
tool that I use at work daily. There is no need to convert ink to text,
because Graffiti is so accurate and easy to use. I have actually stopped
using a steno pad to take notes in meetings and have replaced it with my
Zoomer. I can take "heads-up" notes with it fast and accuratly. If you
can purchase only one more thing for your Zoomer, make it Graffiti. You
definatly won't regret it. My opinion is that any PDA sold in the future
MUST have Graffiti included standard!

Good luck!
