I've been using ZCommLite to do an ASCII
transfer from my Amiga to my zoomer. The
only tool that I have for making a file
of these transfers is the capture file
feature of ZComm.

At first I was getting garbled text at
9600, or even 4800, but I can now use
9600 if I put the Windows/Settings/Mode
menu set for Rare. All I can figure is
that this is allowing Xon/Xoff flow
control.

The downside is that my terminal software
on the sending end reports that the
transfer is proceeding at less than 60 cps.
:-(

The zoomer serial port pinout says that it
has RTS/CTS lines, yet some message from
some quarter asserted that hardware flow
control isn't possible. Can anyone confirm
this?
