Now, I have (yet) another question. Can I get apps to use the files on
the card as the default? I thought it would save my preference, but it
doesn't seem to, and there isn't an .INI entry for this....>>>
- Great to see your card is working fine now.
- The applications on the Zoomer can be default OPEN preexisting files on the
PC-Card, if they follow the Zoomer's B: drive directory format (From GEOS on
down, at least in the Document directory).
- The applications, cannot, by default save a NEW file to the card.
(Something for an upgrade request from what I see...).
- Preferences for most applications are saved (where there is an option to
save them. But, be aware that if the B drive is Hard reset these preferences
will be lost.
- Also, if you have the application set a particular way, and the State file
is deleted (to gain RAM space..?) those settings {ie. the particular folder
open in File Manager} are lost as well.
