Forgive the ignorant question but I have a Costco special (aka AST
Gridpad 2390) and I bought PalmConnnect which comes with the 1 piece
cable to hook the PDA straight to the PC and do file linking.

Now I'm toying with the idea of picking up a cheap, external 2400bps
modem just for kicks. Since I assume the cable already is "null modem"
what will I need to take and plug that cable into a modem rather than
the PC. Will I need to just tack on another null modem cable to "null"
the null....8-) or will I need to just get a "regular" serial cable
and not use my original null modem cable at all?

Thanks for helping the "cable clueless"....8-)
