I'm unconvinced that this is a wise move as our GEOS.INI holds a alot of custom information (like, all our preference settings) and folks can setup their Zoomers in many very creative ways. To brutally overwrite Joe User's INI seems fraught with unintended consequences.

I've run across an early beta of an install/uninstall scripting utility that could do a selective modification of the GEOS.INI. "GeoInstall Version 0.6 beta (c) 1994 by T.Petzold." It is, however, an early beta and I'm not comfortable advising everyone to install a program still in development. Has anyone seen the production version?

Do folks really think that posting a basic, modified GEOS.INI would be helpful? Users would have to re-enter all their preferences, recalibrate their digitizer, ...
