I'm not sure if IZL creates a state file, so if you were to move to another Zoomer application (say Notepad, then to AddressBook, then back to IZL, it should come back to a cleared state.
I'm thinking that the author os the Calculator was a Desk-Top user (guess on my part), but they might be able to give you better insight as to the number of problems with their script..
