Not unlike early versions of Basic that used an interpreter, IZl is the interpreter shell inwhich the scripts that have been and will be developed will run.
It can take advantage of GEOS's Parse library as well.
The commercial version should be out in the near future..
You can use any text editor to build a script, and all you need is GEOS in any format [Zoomer, Desk-Top, PT-9000, possibly even a Starwriter Pro 5000?] and the IZL.GEO program. This version even allows the scripts to be run one line at a time, in a debug type mode to let you see where things are going wrong.
My guess, if things take off, you will see someone coming up with a compiler as well, so that your 3,000 line script will be run directly within GEOS some day....
