Palm Computing, makers of Graffiti power writing software, is working on enabling Graffiti to support non-US English speakers. Graffiti is a highly acclaimed recognition technology used on pen-based computers like the Apple Newton, Sony Magic Link, Casio/Tandy Zoomer, and others.
Palm is looking for people to help us create an international version of our Graffiti power writing software. If you are interested in participating and meet the criteria below, please respond to this message. A special gift awaits all who participate!
1. Born and/or raised in Germany, Italy, France, Mexico or Brazil, speaking the native language of those countries, and speak English as a second language.
2. Will be in the San Francisco Bay Area the week of March 6 and March 13 '95.
3. Interested in participating in a user testing session held in Los Altos, CA (about 35 mi. south of San Francisco) lasting no longer than 2 hours.
4. (Optional) Have experience with handheld or pen based
computers.
This is long-range research -- we are NOT recruiting beta testors at this time.
