Difficulty installing Bullet

Thanks for the help, guys. Its interesting to note the proprietary nature of the IR port. Perhaps GEOWORKS will come out with some sort of replacement driver to offer compatibility with any standards which should arise.

I managed to grab Bullet via FTP last night and was attempting to install it onto my Zoomer. A few concerns came to mind:

1. Its Huge! - Is it possible to store everything on a PCMCIA card and use an external modem?

2. I noted the instructions regarding using the File Linking - Unfortunately, this seems to be the only practicable way I can transfer large files.

3. ZDOS doesn't seem to establish a connection (two different computers tried. Verified settings on both sides.)

My solution to #2 was to link the files over, the actual executable file seemed to retain its original filename okay. The two database files did not, but I utilized a batch file to rename them back to their originals. I was unable to successfully copy them over the existing files in the /userdata/aol directory, and also failed while attempting to copy the executable over the original in the world directory. Apparently, the files are either residing in a firmware segment, or have a read-only attribute selected, although this isn't showing up in the "File information" window. =<

Obviously I am missing something completely.

Advice? It would certainly be nice to access more of AOL from my remote without it crashing so frequently. Danke!!!
