Here's what I know about that error:

Errors: I'm so confused

The "I'm so confused" message appears when the GEOS SysNotify routine is
called with a set of flags [normally (B)oot, (A)bort, (E)xit, (R)etry or
continue] for which it can't find the correct text strings to display. The
SysNotify routine is the one that puts up those delightful white DOS error
message boxes.

For instance, requesting 'R' to retry and ENTER to continue would probably
prompt this message.

<<< Another thing happening when my program crashes (or other ones, the
Icon Editor,e.g.) is that 3 letters are displayed in the upper left corner
of the screen: First row: S; second row: P, third row: r.
Sometimes they are coloured.
I don't know what this means. Maybe it's the beginning of three
words/sentences?!

I don't know what those mean specifically, but I suspect they are
unique to your particular system.
