<< I have been interested in using GEOS on the recommendation of my
supervisor at work. But I was never able to correctly install and run it
on my Packard-Bell Statesman Plus notebook computer because GEOS is unable
to recognize my j-mouse, and will not let me past that stage of the
installation. I have tried to find someone who can help me with this, but
to no avail. Can you possible help me with this problem? I would really
appreciate it.

Geos has no driver to support a J-mouse.
However, there is a driver called the "Arrow Key Mouse Driver"
that will let you control the mouse pointer from the keyboard.
It's near the top of the list of mouse driver in Geos.
This driver exists only in Ensemble 2.0 or New Deal Office.
Geos 1.x for the desktop requires a standard serial,
PS/2, or bus mouse.
