My problem is this: I use the windows setup.exe program to install the
Host software, and that works fine. But when I try to install the
Target software (it transfers fine), the install for the OG EC Emulator
works fine, then I delete install.exe, and target.pvl, and transfer the
NC Em files via setup.exe, but when i run install.exe on the target, it
says it is installing the OG NC EM, and it installs the files in the
OmniGoNC directory, but the files are the same ones that were installed
in the EC installation (minus one or two files, easter.exe and
something else)!! In the World dir off of OmniGoNC, are EC geodes. I
have tried to install the NC Em version about 7 times. sometimes it
only tansfers target.pvl, skipping over install.exe, and some times it
transfers both files fine, but I get the problem described above.
I thought maybe it was something wrong with the setup.exe program
tranfering the files (??), so I tried to manually transfer the two
files, but they were not in the directory on the CD indicated by the
OmniGo Book (D:\target\omnigo\omnigonc\[target.pvl,install.exe]).
Can someone tell me what's happening here?
