Normally I don't use the installer that comes with the SDK - to set up a new
target, I prefer copying the unpacked files from the SDK CD to the target
machine, either directly or by using some kind of file transfer prorgam (like
FastLynx or Laplink). This may take a little longer because it transfer a larger
number of uncompressed files (unless you ZIP them up on your host first :-)),
but it eliminates one piece of software from the install process which doesn't
seem to do a lot more than unpack the files... There is no setup.exe in these
directories, because they already come pre-configured for a VGA machine with a
generic mouse driver etc.
btw: I think the packed files you are looking for are in
\install\omnigo\omnigonc\.
