Re: Installing?

Max,

I don't know why somehow you ended up with the EC installation again. Perhaps
you somehow got the NC version of INSTALL.EXE, but still had the EC version
of TARGET.PVL.

Anyway, just now I copied
\INSTALL\OMNIGO\OMNIGONC\ INSTALL.EXE
and
\INSTALL\OMNIGO\OMNIGONC\TARGET.PVL
from the OmniGo SDK CD (there's only been one version of the CD, so I know
mine is the same as yours) directly to my target machine. Then I ran
INSTALL.EXE.

The installation created an \OMNIGONC directory on my target with a working
NC version of the OmniGo emulation software that contains no "EC" versions of
any files. The files match the ones on the CD in \TARGET\OMNIGO\OMNIGONC.

It's true that the docs mistakenly say to run "GEOS" and that there is no
GEOS.BAT. The executable you should run is LOADER.EXE. The NC version of the
target contains no EASTER.EXE.
