OmniGo 100 Summertime Bug ?

On monday morning (1st Apr), when I turned it on, my OG reported that the
internal time had changed. This was correct with the summertime advance in
the time by 1 Hour. The OG wanted to know if I would like to set the new
time to the selected city clock, in the world time app.
I was in traffic at the time so I shut down the OG.

Later I re-opened the OG and was asked again and I chose the 'yes' option.
Then I went to the world time app and found that none of the cities were
being listed.

I performed a soft reset [shift]+[on]+[next] and the cities returned.

I checked the time of my local city in the cities list, 'Dublin, Ireland',
and found the time had not been advanced.

I then checked the local city and found that it was set to 'Aarhaus,
Denmark' not Dublin as I had left it.

Next I noticed that the date was yesterdays date (31st Mar).

I had to reset the time, date and local city. I can only presume that other
people will come accross this problem, or that there is a simple
work-around, because if this crap is going to happen twice a year...

BTW >>>

Oh yeah, calling all 'Europeans'...

Sometimes there are 5 Sundays in October, and the EC in their "infinite
wisdom" have decided to arbitrarily decide on the 4th or 5th Sunday as the
end of summertime. PCs, VCRs and PDAs are programmed in the 'American'
system to end summertime on the last Sunday of October.

I work with Building Managemnt Systems (Smart Buildings to the US) and the
chaos this EC summertime causes is a big problem because end users resetset
the systems manually when they don't see the automatic change on the 4th
Sunday, then the systems automatically change again on the 5th Sunday. MADNESS!

I doubt the OGO will be any different but EU users should be aware of it. I
think Users in the southern hemisphere may also experience summertime
changes on the wrong week.
