Have you tried using just LOAN without the dashes? I think the Pocket
Quicken interprets categories that start with a dash as another account,
and since the account doesn't exist, it might just drop it. I am not
positive about this, but it sounds like that is what might be happening...
If it must keep the -LOAN- name, then I would suspect a potential
problem, kindof like trying to clear a transfer of funds between
accounts. (This problem is readily apparent if you use the "Transfer to"
method for payment of your bills from another account, you can clear it
in the account the money is coming out of, but cannot be cleared in the
receiving account. I think its a bug, but Intuit says I am "loonie" and
just don't know the reason for it. )
Anyways, try presenting it as a potential bug to Intuit, and I hope you
get better response than I did.
