Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus and yes Marc there was a recall of
the first batch of OGs. It had to do with a loss of information stored in
RAM when the batteries were changed with the 'touch screen to turn on'
option enabled. I exchanged my unit this week.

I must (in a very out of character fashion) commend HP for the very
professional manner in which they exchanged my OG. One phone call, the
new unit arrived the next business day (with new backup and lithium
batteries), all packing material and return labels were included. One
phone call to Fedex and my unit went back. It is really super that a
quality organization like HP has entered the PDA frackas. Now if they
would just offer a significant maintenance upgrade to connectivity
pack....I'm a homely moron, not an OG basher.
