Each time you start an application and then Fn+F3 to shut it down, a 'state'
file is created in the ramdisk. The state file keeps track of what document
was open and to which page it was open, etc. so the next time you run the
app, it picks up where you left off, instead of opening to the first page
(I'm saying "page" here for simplicity's sake, realizing that some apps don't
make documents with pages).
When you warm boot the unit, the state files are deleted, which is why you
see an increase in ramdisk space.
If you are running out of space, then you might want to move some of your
apps or documents to the sram card.
