Direct Mobile is Surplus Techonology, so the cards they sell are
refurbished. I recieved in the mail, a GrID 1 mb SRAM card, with a brand
new battery I had to insert. The card looked pretty beat up, but nothing
seems broken.
I had heard that the card has had some problems, and it needs to be
formatted in a laptop first, but that is not true (at least in my case). I
formatted the card once, then even though I took it out, and put it in, it
still stayed formatted.
Also, I have heard that there have been problems regarding SoftBooting the
OG when an SRAM card is inserted but it works fine with mine!
Overall, I encourage you to get this card. It is really a bargain and it
works just fine.
