Yeah, you'll need it if you try to get any help from HP after you try to repair it yourself. Dennis, I know your intentions are good, but I'm concerned that someone might get themselves in trouble. I know of at least one person who scratched their screen with a damaged stylus (look closely at the tip for small cuts or abrasions). If your stylus is alright, then I would pursue it with HP directly. You may have a defective screen.
