I've had the same exact problem. I use a mail tool called PINE which
seems to force itself to VT100 terminal mode no matter what your TERM
setting is. I believe the only solution wouls be to use a VT100 emulator
on the omnigo. Now with DOS mode working, we may be closer to a
solution.
