My name is Robert S. Williams... I have been quite active in the past
using the HP palmtops. (95LX, 100LX, 200LX) and have recently purchased
a used Omnigo100 to play around with. In general, I like the Omnigo
software. I really miss the 80 column screen of the 100/200LX line, but
the pen interface is really nifty. So, I have a Omnigo100 with a 2 MB
SRAM card installed. I have downloaded and installed the very nice
utilities available here on the net.
My question relates to how I might get the native database files and
phonebook files from my 200LX to load into their eqivalent apps on the
Omnigo. I tried just transfering the files over to the OG in the
/document directory and opening them.... the OG chokes on the file,
deletes it and substitutes its default blank file. SO, what do I need to
do to get the 200LX .GDB files to load up? I would prefer to have them
load from the SRAM card (I have several 600K+ .GDB files) because more
space is available there. Any suggestions would be welcome. I am
subscribed to the digestified version of the list ...so direct E-Mail wil
get a direct reply ...otherwise I have to wait till the digest is
processed to see the reply.
