Well, Hello and welcome to the OGO mailing list!

I also went from a 200LX to the OGO. THe lack of 80 columns didn't really
bother me until I saw the light (err, make that the DOS prompt :-)
Slight tangent. Can't HP change the screen to say 320x240 and still have
the keyboard foldback and the screen rotate from potrait to landscape.
The Newton does this (screen rotation) with this screen resolution without
problem and the Zaurus I believe can get 80 columns with this resolution.
With 320 pixels, you won't get 80 columns in DOS but you might get a
readable
80 columns in GEOS. Heck, make the screen 480x240 while their at it!

There was an excellent article by John Blue posted here (I think) on doing
this,
and I also posted about how I converted my 200LX phonebook to the
OGO. Instead of reposting them, please check the OGO Mailing list archives
or I could mail those posts to you privately if I you want (assuming I
still have them).
