I'd suggest getting GDBIO. It's a dos utility that converts .gdb files
into comma delimited text and back to .gdb (although it drops all the
notes on the "back to .gdb" step). It comes with some docs about how to
create valid .gdb files that may be of some help. You have to create the
data strucuture empty first, then copy the empty .gdb to your pc, then
run GDBIO to fill the structure with the data from a comma delimited
file. When you copy the .gdb back to the OG and open it for the first
time, it reindexes it (which takes a few seconds) and then you're ready
to go.

If you transfered your data to comma delimited, then went through this
process to copy each one to the Og, it might fix your problems.

Please note, I've only used GDBIO to convert from .gdb files. Everything
I just told you is from memory from reading the docs. I've never
actually done it myself. Your mileage may vary.

GDBIO is available at www.mcs.com/~halleen/shareware/.
