I do not have this problem. I can use only the pen and switch fields. Sounds
like something in the defaults has been set (ExpertMode, geos.ini, etc.)

You can create an event on the Ogo when you create an appointment item, you just
delete out either the start time or end time (using graffiti, triple tap and
make a backstroke). This will place "none" in the time zone and it will become
an event that has no time associated with it and appears at the top for the
day(s) it was created for. Hope that helps, Levi.
