As far as I am aware the HP1000CX was only released to the OEM market.
It was primarily designed for the vertical application development
market. These people needed a machine that could run a fairly standard
OS but without any optional extras in the way of software (ie the
200LX). Then they could just add their software.
As to being able to get one I think you would have to know someone at
a company that had developed software for it and were selling them as
bundled units.

Hi, I heard about the HP1000CX in the palmtop newsgroup. It is
a 200lx without the software. I was wondering if any one has heard of
this product and where i might find it. I know this has nothing to do
with the omnigo. Sorry.
