If you copy the datafiles of the proprietary apps onto the mirrored directory,
i.e. C:\GEOWORKS\DOCUMENT\..., then you can use the SRAM card as your data
storage for these applications. BEWARE! If you remove the SRAM card and start
one of the applications which now stores its data on the SRAM card, the Ogo will
create a new empty data file. I don't know what this does to your
synchronization and ability to use the data file on the SRAM.
I believe the connectivity pack does *not* back up the data on the SRAM card.
So if you use this software - you should hand backup your data using omnicom in
dos. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
So, if you still can live with these deficits, you are only limited to the size
of SRAM card you can afford.
For myself, I use the SRAM card for games, shareware, and spreadsheet datafiles.
I hand backup the spreadsheet files on the PC. This method leaves about 100K of
remaining space after state files have hogged up their memory. It seems to work
well.
