Uh... is it just me or does this seem way out of line? Hello! This is an
open forum for discussion. If you don't like what's being discussed, start
another topic or just don't read the list. I saw nothing when I subscribed
to this list which said we could not discuss shortcommings of the Omnigo.
If you don't want to bitch, that's your choice, but don't enforce that
choice on everyone else. I find it actually makes me more satisfied with my
Ogo having this forum in which to discuss problems which it turns out others
are having, and sometimes which I later find out are solvable through
workarounds or not even problems at all. Yes, folks, the Ogo has problems,
it's far from perfect, but I think we'll all agree that for the $250-300 we
paid for it, there isnt' much else out on the market which has the variety
of applications, expandibility options, and programability. Opinions of
PDA's can be very subjective because everyone uses them in different ways -
everyone has somewhat different ways of organizing their thoughts,
information, etc. But discussing what some people like about the unit and
what others don't like allow me, anyway, to hone my thoughts on how best to
use the Ogo or at least the aspects I would want to look for in another PDA
in the future...
