If you just purchased Bindery, this information should have been included
in a little 8 page pamphlet with the product:
------------
This article contains information useful for those writing electronic books
which will be viewed on an HP OmniGo 100 device.

Platform Emulation

To tell Bindery to use a page size the same as the OmniGo 100 Book Reader's
view window: choose Platform Emulation from the File menu. In the dialog box
that appears, choose Custom, then enter a Custom Width of 234 and a Custom
Height of 170. Use a larger Custom Height value to allow taller, scrolling
pages.

Distributing your Book

Software for the OmniGo 100 is distributed in the form of GPK files.

To create a package file, use the Shipper application, available from the
software libraries in this forum.

Install the Shipper application from Program Manager or Explorer in Windows.

The Shipper program comes with on-screen help describing how to you may use
it to put your files into a package.

You will furnish a title for your package (e.g., "Solano Ave Guidebook"). You
can enter a description for the package. Use the Shipper's "Add File"
function to add files to the package.

As mentioned in the Shipper program's Help, the Destination path for each
file should have GEOWORKS as its root directory and should include the DOS
file name: e.g., \GEOWORKS\USERDATA\PKBOOKS\BOZEMAN.000

Your book's files consist of the Book file in the DOCUMENT directory and
Content files in a subdirectory of the USERDATA directory. They should be
copied to the corresponding directories of the OmniGo device.

To install a GPK file containing a book or other software, you will need the
Installer program, available for free from Geoworks' online forums. Installer
comes with instructions.
