I'd say your point about HP avoiding undesirable service calls is right
on the money. So one possible way to pry the stuff out HP's hands would
be for a thirdparty outfit to buy the whole lot as surplus under a
specific agreement to field all service and support issues (ie absolving
HP of all responsibility). Since there isn't likely to be a wholesaler
or retailer stocking up inventory of a discontinued, unsuporrted
product, perhaps a collective or consortium of OGO users might take the
plunge
