The first one I installed was OgFile v1.01 by RC Schuler. It got the
job done, but was rather clunky in it's interface (lot of seemingly
extra steps just to do what I usually do with the file manager (delete
files)).
So I then got the HP OmniGo 100 File Manager by Blue Marsh Softworks
(btw, the About screen has the year 1996 after it, implying some form
of copyright, but the word "Copyright" (or the 'c' with a circle
around it) aren't there, so I guess it really isn't). The first thing
I saw was that the interface was very nice. Two hot buttons that
send me to either World or Document (where I spend most of my time,
of course). Easy to select files, then right there in the File menu
was Delete. What a joy. First thing I decided to delete was OgFile
(it's clunky interface loosing out over the slickness of File Manager).
But... I go to delete it. It gives a warning: "Delete selected items?"
I say, Yes, and it says, "Error deleting item: OgFile".
I'm sure that OgFile can delete File Manager no problem, but I'd like
to give File Manager every advantage in this private version of core
wars. Any ideas as to why it can't delete?
In other news, I've been downloading books (really liked Parnassus
on Wheels, but after downloading Pocket Quicken, I think my bookreading
days are over until I can get a memory card), but for some reason, the
"Delete Book" option in the book reader has never worked... Any ideas
there as well?
In Christ,
Michael
