Purchasing an OGO 100

Well count me another newbie. Later today I'll be purchasing an Omnigo
100. Given the price difference I really can't justify buying a 120 with
as little extra as it inlcudes. I have no need for pocket Quicken as this
gadget is mainly going to be used to replace the post-it note/scrap of
paper filing system I'm now using. I'm tired of info disappearing right
when I most need to find it again. I also want to be able to be able to
store and read e-texts as well as creating my own. I could use some
recomendations on what aditional hardware/software might be worthwhile.
I've read the archives of this list and the connectivity pack seems to be
held in total contempt but I assume I'll need some sort of software to do
the transfers so what ought I to use (I plan to buy IZL so if the software
that comes with that will work I'm all set). Finally, I'm still relatively
confused about memory expansion as far as flash vs. sram. Which is going
to cut into my battery life more? Having played with one I can't imagine
speed of memory access being an issue. I don't have a laptop so I'll have
to be able to format the card on the ogo. Finally, I don't want to go into
overkill mode with this so I'm curious as to how much additional memory
you have found to be enough. I was figuring maybe 1-2 megs additional when
I got to the point of buying more. I'll be building the AC adapter for
doing backups to my desktop system. Figure I might as well get as much
battery life as possible. Thanks in advance for any advice.
