Practical use... :)

Well, I've found a practical use for the OG...

I work stock/register at Kragen Auto Parts... I often have to stock&front oil, or look up a price for a customer... I've come up with two databases to help me...

The first (and most important), will replace the dozens of 3x5 cards and pens I carry around when stocking oil... I have to write down how many cases of each type of each brand of oil to bring out from the stock room...

Three fields: List box (Brand: Pennzoil, Castrol, etc...), List Box (Weight/type: 30, 30ND, 40, 50, 60, 5/30, 10/30, 10/40, 20/50...), Integer box (Number of cases), these will be displayed on the list, giving me a quick view of what I need! :)

The second one would be three fileds also:
Text (Item name), Text (bar code #), and currency or some such (price), that way I have a quick view of what something is if a customer asks (if I come across something new, I jot it down in jotter, and later enter it in... :>)

This could save me time at work, or just give me something fun to play with at work... :)

Have fun!
