The database app was written by HP, not Geoworks, so I am not aware of the specifics of such limitations, if any. Anyone else out there run into this limit? I'll try to find time to investigate it further, but my schedule is completely full during the next six days...

In my opinion, a card and a cable are two "essential" hardware add-ons for the OmniGo 100.

I haven't ever done any printing with the OmniGo, but the folks who have tell me that it's quite simple as long as you have a serial to parallel cable.
