Just backing up what Nathan said about RayOVac Renewals. They work great, about as long as a pair of regular alkalines. I realized, like the rest of you, that the battery cost would drive me into the dirt. Let's see 2.00 a pair... 52 weeks (1 pair/wk) ... $100... whoa.

Renewals: Two packs of 4 @ $8 a pack = $16 (~ $2 per battery)
Recharger (small AAA & AA only) on sale = $12
At 25 charges per pair ... 4 pairs ... wow ~ 2 years
For ..... $28 bucks .. that I can live with.

Side note:
DON'T get the EveryReady Rechargables they are 1.2 Volts!
Caused my OGo to have some very weird problems.
Great for the battery powered speakerphone, though :-)
