I signed on to say I'm having good success with Radio Shack's Hi-Capacity Ni-Cds but found Craig beat me to it. The Radio Shack's are better than some generic ones I tried previously. Only problem with Ni-Cd's - when they go, they go in a hurry. Don't count on a low battery warning appearing any more than a nano-second before they die - keep a recharged set handy. I'm impressed by the fact that only once I've had to do a warm reboot to correct some strange behaviour after a battery switch and even then there was no loss of data, my last scribble was still intact.
