Well, my Maxtor MobileMax 2 meg. flashcard showed up today. I put it in the PCMCIA slot, flipped the lever to lock, and -- a message flashed on the screen of my Zoomer saying something like "the card you have inserted is not compatible with this unit." Before I totally give up and return it to Educalc (by the way, it showed up a few days after I ordered it) I wonder if anyone has any ideas. The only thing I can think of is that the card may have Stacker pre-installed on it and this is keeping the Zoomer from recognizing it. Is this possible? If so, since my wife's laptop has a PCMCIA slot, is it possible for me to insert the card there, format it (using DOS?) to get rid of Stacker, and then get it to work with the Zoomer? Any ideas will be welcome. Thanks!
