Do we know how much ram will be available for users data? How does it
compare to the number ot actual items you can enter. I take it ink uses less
ram than text from some of the comments here. How can this be since I
thought ink was basically a bitmapped picture. Also as a diehard Mac user
the most imnprotant two questions for me are... will the Zoomer interface be
totally separate from the dos type prompts etc. that seem to make up the
underlying Geoworks base for the machine. I mean if it crashes will I get a
prompt and have to type (write) "run Zoom.OS" or whatever command line it
would require. And lastly will I be able to synchronize data between apps
such as NUD for the Mac and my Desktop Quicken for the Mac. This seems like
it would require people on the Mac end writing translation sw for the mac
either for each specific title or something like Apple's Connection Pro Kit.
Answers these q's and maybe I can be won over to wait another two months for
the Zoomer... (better yet add me to your beta test list for the machines,
seriously!!! I would use it 24 hours a day in synch with macs at the office
and my house).Subj: Ink is compressed
