Sorry I haven't read back... Here is a simple test to see how the "new
billing is". Logoff, signon, keyword to Billing (it's a free area, this will
take you less then 10 sec.) and check how much time you have. Now logoff from
the free area and log back on going straight to billing again. Wow, you are
less 1 min.!!
Hum...interesting that it takes you less then 1 min. to get to the free
area Billing but you've been charged 1 min. on your bill!
And I might point out that while you do get $9.95month/5 free hours/$3.50
hour afterwords GEnie is $8.95month/4 free hours/$3.00 hour afterwards during
nonworking hours (of which I'm working) so it comes out to a better deal then
AOL for me. Plus when I logon GEnie I start in a free area and it tells me if
I have any mail.
I just hope that GEnie is also making a ZOOMER interface or we can get on
GEnie somehow with ZOOMER so I don't keep getting charged just to see if I
have mail. And no, the PDA/Palmtop support is better here on AOL, for right
now.
