You're correct the Zoomie software is a bit slow fight noe, but I think after other companies use the GeoWorks type OS for their PDA's there may be more Zoomer Apps, also I'm new to Mac's so the only way I know of transfering software would be to mail it to yourself with AOL.I don't recall hearing any news on a Zoomer but hopefully I'm wrong. I would go ahead and buy a Zoomer at a place that has a 90 day return poicy so you can change your mind down the road, hope this helps.
