Subject: Upload / Download Tool Release
Status: OR
Hi Gang,

The interactive upload / download utility I mentioned in previous mail is
ready for release in two forms: a freeware version, and a cheapware version.

The product runs on a DOS based PC and performs the following functions
with a Zoomer that has been placed in file transfer mode:

Upload a file (Zoomer to PC)
Download a file (PC to Zoomer)
Show or Change the current directory path on the Zoomer.
List the contents of the current Zoomer directory.

The program is command line oriented, and will forward any typed command
not in its command set to DOS for execution. In this way, you can perform
DOS commands while running Zoomcom, allowing you to quickly and easily
upload files from your Zoomer, then use DOS tools to perform operations
upon them.

The freeware version will perform all of the functions available in the
cheapware version, but will have a limitation on upload / download file sizes.

The cheapware version will sell for $20. (PA residents add 6% sales tax)

Perhaps someone can tell me a few places where I could post the freeware
version to provide the subscribers to this list easiest access. Details on
the purchasing of the cheapware package will be provided in the freeware
version, or through direct e-mail.
