The comp.sys.zoomer vote failed by about a dozen votes last December.  There
weren't a lot of "no" votes, the problem was more that weren't enough "yes"
votes.

I'll propose the newsgroup again in May, after the required six month waiting
period.  Assuming that it passes then, I'll do some kind of gateway.

If AOL ever gets around to providing access to world wide web servers, you'll
be able to access the mailing list through the Zooomer WWW server as well.
