Well, why not?  :)  It just seemed like the easiest language to port that
there is-- it's the language to use to bootstrap anything.  Just ask Sun--
the system ROMs were designed in Forth.

That sounds awesome!  Let us know how it's going-- will it be freeware?
can I help?  (By the way, forth has had some use in OO environments, too.)

Porting to Geos, not just the Zoomer.  It sounds good, but it can
definitely NOT access the full power of Geos.  It isn't supposed to.
