I don't have a Mac either. I have an emulator board inside my Amiga. I
also already have SoftPC and it says it will work with the serial ports.

The problem here is resources and complication. What I am looking for is
a simple and local method of backing up (and if necessary restoring) the
data on my Zoomer and I personally view idea of running an emulator
within an emulator as equally complicated, if not more so, than sending
myself mail on AOL, and reserving 4 Megs (on an almost full 50 Meg hard
drive) as a waste of precious resouses.

What I find to be a serious dissapointment about the Zoomer is that its
main competitor, the Newton, already has software readily available to
allow it to connect to both the Mac and PC (via Windows) system. With
the Zoomer, you connect it to a PC or you don't connect it to anything,
period.

Yes it did, but that's for another mailserver.

As always.
