I'm new to this list, and am thinking about developing a low speed,
disconnected filesystem (via serial, IR, or other wireless technologies) for
PDAs and was looking for some input. Will the Geos SDK support this type of
development, or is it strictly for application development? If it is more
for application development, who would I talk to about the type of
development that I'm interested in? Also, I'm a graduate student which means
I don't have much money. How much can I expect to spend on a decently
outfitted zoomer, serial cable, SDK, etc.? Which PDA do you think would be
best for this type of development? I've got the PCs for development, so that
doesn't need to be included in the quote. Also, if current developers have
any suggestions/tips/warnings for a newbie, please feel free to send those
along as well.
