<It also apparently won't install if you're using COM3 on the PC.  It
searches
<COM1 and COM2 then gives up.  I use COM3 for simplicity's sake, and have
<changed the interrupt to avoid conflict with my mouse on COM1

<I ended up using Intellilink to install them.

The Doc's also give the instructions that if things are not standard, to
add....

- /COM:X for the comm port you are using...

- /IRQ:X for the IRQ you are using on that port..

They thought of everything I could try to break.... (Appendix... page 25...)
